illumin is pleased to announce its inclusion in The Globe and Mail’s “Women Lead Here” list for 2025. This marks the first time illumin has ever earned a spot in the highly prestigious annual list by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine.
The “Women Lead Here: Corporate Canada Female Leadership Ranked” evaluates over 500 companies across Canada on female representation in top executive roles. This marks the sixth year for Report on Business magazine’s annual benchmark of gender diversity in corporate Canada.
This year’s benchmark includes 93 companies, a slight decrease from last year’s total of 97, but still a strong showing from 2020’s initial list which included 73 companies. Of those 93 companies, 16 are headed up by a women in the corner office, compared with 21 last year. The number of women in executive roles at these companies is at least stable with an average of 46%, up from 2023’s 45%.
According to the Women Lead Here list, illumin has been evaluated with about 42% of women executives, almost half of the entire executive team!
