This year the festival was held from the 17 to the 21 of June and like every year before, the week was filled with a showcase of 2024’s most innovative ad campaigns alongside insightful discussions.

Alongside awarding some of the most creative and innovative ad campaigns, the festival is a great opportunity to explore innovative insight from industry leaders.

The award segment of Cannes Lions is by far the most exciting part of the festival. It underpins the entire event and helps define excellence across the industry. From every corner of the world, advertisers gather to celebrate the very best in creative marketing.

There were so many amazing Bronze, Silver, and Gold Cannes Lions winners this year – here are some of our favorites. 

Thanks for Coke-Creating 

This Gold Cannes Lions winning campaign for Coca-Cola is exuberant. The campaign, called both “Every Coca-Cola is Welcome” and “Thanks for Coke-Creating,” highlights artists from across the world creating their own renditions of the Coca-Cola logo for local shops and bodegas. This art creates a beautiful, global tapestry of cultural diversity and shows just how big the beverage giant’s influence is. 

Heinz Ketchup Fraud

Heinz takes home a Bronze Cannes Lions with this engaging and provoking campaign from Canadian creative agency Rethink. This campaign asks its viewers: Are you sure the ketchup in that Heinz bottle is really Heinz? The ads tease the notion that many restaurants use Heize branded bottles, but fill them with other brands – cleverly highlighting its brand superiority using simple text and imagery. 

Spreadbeats

This B2B music video campaign was created in partnership with creative agency FCB NY and Uncharted. It was distributed entirely in a media planning spreadsheet and included the coding for colorful and bright music. This clever and out-of-the-box campaign won the Digital Craft Grand Prix and a Bronze Cannes Lions in the B2B category.
