The last eleven years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has all been building to this. Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of a 22-film story that’s largely revolved around original six Avengers characters like Captain America and Iron Man – and the eventual threat that Thanos would pose. Ahead of the release of Avengers: Endgame, some of the most popular brands in the world partnered with Marvel to harness the series’ huge popularity. The following videos were able to stand out from the rest and captured the most views to make it into our Top 5!
Coming in first place is Audi. Their ad features Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, returning to help the Avengers battle for the fate of the universe. First though, she’s brought up to speed on what she’s missed while she was away – including cell phones, avocado toast, and of course, the all-new Audi e-tron SUV.
Coming in second place is Funko. To build anticipation for the Avengers: Endgame release and to celebrate the full suite of Avengers-themed Funko Pop! toys, Funko created a movie trailer featuring the Funko Pop! version of Rocket and Thanos battling it out for the infinity gauntlet. It might be the most adorable throw down we’ve ever seen.
Google takes third place with their spot using various shots from Endgame, but seen from the point of view of regular human bystanders going about their day. Throughout the ad, Google does a great job of promoting the Pixel 3’s main features, primarily the camera and Google Assistant.
