About the Author
Wendy Stofan Halley's early memories of her own invisible friends and her lifelong dream of planting seeds of wonder in children's heads led to the birth of
Inside Out. Having decided to become an author in the sixth grade, she has also written articles, reviews, and essays, as well as TV documentary segments for PBS. Wendy and her husband John live on the New Jersey shore with Friend, their English Mastiff.
About the Illustrator
Roberta Collier-Morales grew up believing she could fly and talk to her invisible playmates. By illustrating
Inside Out, this award-winning artist has found a way to do both. Here she successfully integrates her fantastic imagination with her intuitive nurturing of the human spirit. Having earned her Master’s degree in Studio Art from Marywood University, Roberta is a full-time artist and calligrapher.
